As of Feb 2011, my sales include kanzashi produced by a talented local artist: Aya Blue Studios. She strives to make each and every kanzashi durable, functional, and unique. Aye Blue hand crafts each kanzashi, and uses a wide variety of fabric including fabric taken from kimono. The kind of kanzashi sold is called 'Tsumami Kanzashi'. Tsumami Kanzashi literally translates to and means 'folded fabric hair ornament'.
