A Personal Note - Ovarian Cancer

For those who care, my mother has been battling stage 4a ovarian cancer. She had just begun helping me sell at conventions when she was diagnosed. In the short time that she was helping out she fell in love with the vendor scene and came to understand the appeal of the vendor family.

I am happy to report that after a long and very ugly battle that my mom is in remission at this time. She hopes to return to do a few shows while she is in good health. Please feel free to stop by and offer a hug or some encouragement, she's pretty open about her status and as an extrovert thrives on encouraging social interactions.

If all goes well she will make the 5 year mark.

As a result of this, I am scaling back some (not all) of my shows to focus on my family during this time that window I have with my mom. Money can not buy time lost, or bring back those we love.
