Photos From Ginza Festival 2018

It was so good to be back at Ginza Festival at the Midwest Buddhist Temple in Chicago, Illinois. This year marked the 63rd such festival. All throughout the city various Japanese-American communities were celebrating Obon season. For the past several years we have sold at the Ginza Festival, and have loved every season we take part in. This weekend long festival features a great sampling of Japanese food, culture, arts, and more. While there are several kimono dealers who take part in this festival, we have a reputation for offering a great selection of cotton yukata and Japanese kimono related kitsuke accessories at a great price. Our stretch tabi socks and geta were among our top sellers over the weekend, and were commonly purchased as novel gifts. Over the course of the weekend we were delighted to dress a wide variety of customers in traditional yukata.
