This antique chayu style fukuro obi features 2 distinct and different sides: one side features snowflakes with flowers and the other side grapes. On both sides embroidery has been tastefully added to accent and compliments the designs on both sides. Fukuro obi require a variety of additional accessories for wearing in a traditional manner. Most commonly the accessories are: 1 makura, 1 obiage, 1 obijime, 1 obi-ita, and optional but suggested is an obi-dome. Chuya style obi are considered informal attire and are popular among collectors.
- Obi Condition: B, this antique obi suffers from overall discoloration typical of advanced age. Structurally the obi is in good condition, and the embroidery is mostly intact.
