This vintage blue kimono features a bold white design that has scattered flowers in it. This kimono is lined, with a full width collar. This kind of women's kimono is casual attire, and can be worn with a nagoya obi or hanhaba obi.

 

  • Kimono Condition: B , there is a stain on the collar where it is folded in half. The lining on this older kimono is also thin from age, but not yet torn or has any holes that we could find.

Kimono require a few accessories to be worn traditionally. This is a quick basic guide tailored to people new to kitsuke, and wearing kimono. An easy rule with kimono is that the more formal the Japanese kimono is, the more accessories are needed to wear it in a culturally respectful traditional way.

      • 2 eri shin (collar stiffeners)
      • 1 obi ita (obi stiffener)
      • 1 obi with its cordinating accessories (hanhaba/nagoya/fukuro/maru).
      • Optional accessories include haori, and hakama.
