This set of brand new himo are in ready-to-wear condition, and are made from lovely printed cotton fabric. Each himo is in the traditional style, and are the primary tool used to tie kimono onto a person's body. Himo are an essential kimono dressing tool required for wearing all kinds of kimono. 

Contrary to popular belief, obi do not hold kimono on a person: himo do. Himo are sometimes also referred to as koshihimo. Ideally most people need 2 himo to wear a kimono minimum.
