This elegant vintage silk haori is solid black and made from a loose woven style for summer wear. The haori features arching blades of wild grass. Haori are coats worn atop of Japanese kimono, as an added layer of warmth and some protection from the elements. Haori are not designed to close in the front, and hang open. The shibori on this haori is most likely authentic.
 
If a haori came to us with its haori himo attached, we leave them in place. 
 
Haori Condition: B+, gently used vintage ready to wear condition without major flaws.  Might have minor flaws that have no serious impact on wear or presentation.
