This brand new kaku obi for men is solid black with a subtle checkerboard and strike design along the length on one side, and the otherwise is a solid sandy brown color.  This kind of obi can be worn with informal to semi-formal Japanese kimono attire and does not require any additional accessories to be worn. Women's obi can require a wide variety of accessories for wearing however, men's are much simpler. There are two distinct sides of this obi.
