This vintage Japanese kimono features a bold mostly vertical plaid design. This kind of kimono is considered casual women's attire, and is ideally worn during warmer weather. Typically a hanhaba obi, or a nagoya obi is worn atop this kimono. A juban is worn under the kimono, with a haneri collar visible.

Kimono require a few accessories to be worn traditionally. This is a quick basic guide tailored to people new to kitsuke, and wearing kimono. An easy rule with kimono is that the more formal the Japanese kimono is, the more accessories are needed to wear it in a culturally respectful traditional way.

      • 1 obi with its cordinating accessories (hanhaba/nagoya/fukuro/maru).
