This vintage  hanhaba obi features two different sides. One side is white and blue with a sort of abstract botanical design, the other side is an adobe red with a hemp leaf design. One side of this obi is solid yellow without any design. Unlike more formal types of obi hanhaba do not require any accessories such as a makura, or an obi-age to wear traditionally. This obi is thin and flexible. A high quality and easy to care for synthetic material was most likely used to make this obi.
