This elegant vintage folding fan is gently used and is made of traditional materials: paper and wood. The wood of this fan is a lighter color, and the fan itself is an earthy brown. There is a hand-painted shishi on the fan, which is slightly worn from age. Fans such as this are intended to be used as to cool yourself off, and are commonly carried tucked into an obi, inside a kimono sleeve, or carried in a personal bag.
