Maple leaves drift upon the ripples of water on this tsuke obi. The obi itself is a heather purple, with white. In the style of a hanhaba obi, this obi is considered informal attire and is very easy to ware. Care and cleaning of this obi is simple because it is made from a synthetic material. Tsuke obi in this style are most commonly worn by women with a type of Japanese kimono known as a yukata. Yukata are informal attire worn during warmer weather.
