This elegant vintage formal women's obi has a landscape design on it in a metallic gold color with various traditional design aspects such as pine and chrysanthemum flowers.  This kind of obi is considered formal women's attire and would commonly be worn with more formal kimono such as furisode, or tomesode. Obi do not hold a kimono on a body, and are decorative in nature.
