This elegant antique furkuro obi has two unique sides, both of which can be worn outwardly. One side features a peach grape theme with silver thread embroidery, and the other side if a botanical floral scene with Japanese garden aspects. The material used to produce this obi is lightweight and thin, with lines that run through it in the style of ro. This antique is potentially from the taisho era.
- Obi Condition: B, gently used antique shows signs of age in the form of scattered overall discolorations and yellowing of the white of the organic material. Structurally this obi is in very good condition without major flaws. It might be possible to carefully deconstruct this obi to clean it and improve the appearance, but should be done so with professional care.
