This vintage peach houmongi features cranes in a landscape setting. Houmongi are a formal kind of women's Japanese kimono, and are most commonly worn to occassions such as political events, weddings, tea ceremony, and other formal social occassions. A juban is worn under this kind of kimono. A formal style nagoya obi or a fukuro obi is worn with this kind of kimono.
 
Kimono Condition: B, some faint minor discolorations on one sleeve, and a few other spots. The lining has aged some. This kimono would benefit from being ironned.
