This elegant vintage folding fan is gently used and is made of traditional materials: paper and wood. The fans design is of soft pink pearl color with grey brush strokes and a mon in golden colors. Fans such as this are sensu and are most often used for performing and dancing in Japan, which is designed to be seen from a distance by a viewing audience.
 
The mon on this fan is from the Japanese dance and performance school of Hanayagi.
