This elegant royal blue and white obiage is most likely made of silk. The shibori design on this obiage makes a design with maple leaves and waves. Obiage are a woman's kitsuke kimono dressing accessory most commonly used with a nagoya obi, and fukuro obi. The center 'blank' section of the obiage is used to wrap around a makura.
