This vintage flat braid obijime is various shades of beautiful blue that have a color gradient fade to a soft ice white that has intermixed into it subtle pale shades of green and purple.  Obijime are a decorative cord worn atop of women's Japanese kimono, specifically atop the obi. Koshihimo and obijime are two different things. Obijime are decorative cords that may be tied in a wide variety of styles and are visible when worn atop of an obi.
