This vintage women's nagoya obi is in the style of the summer weight ones, and has a silver and gold wave design embroidered upon a loose woven salmon-colored exterior.  Obi are worn atop of Japanese kimono and are a decorative element. Obi do not hold kimono on a person's body, rather koshihimo are used to tie a kimono onto a person. Obi have their own formalities, styles, and accessories.
 
Obi Condition: B, some minor flaws but still ideal for wearing. Would benefit from being carefully ironed.
