This elegant vintage formal women's obi is silvery white with a design on it made up of metallic gold and orange hexagons paired with pink daffodil flowers, jewels, and what might be the sweeping tail feathers of a peacock in shades of gold, pink, blue, and purple. This kind of obi is considered formal women's attire and would commonly be worn with more formal kimono such as furisode, or tomesode. Kimono do not hold a kimono on a body, and are decorative in nature.
