This vintage cheerful yellow and red hanhaba obi features a botanical design that runs the length of the band. One side of this obi is solid yellow without any design. Unlike more formal types of obi hanhaba do not require any accessories such as a makura, or an obi-age to wear traditionally. This obi is thin and flexible. A high quality and easy to care for synthetic material was most likely used to make this obi.
