Join us for a free yukata dressing class on Zoom!



GEN-J (Grassroots Exchange Network -Japan) and Ohio Kimono have come together to organize a FREE virtual yukata workshop that will be hosted on Zoom! This yukata dressing class is a part of a virtual Obon-Festival which will include other activities and classes.


Looking for something fun to do, and want to learn about the foundations of wearing Japanese kimono in a culturally respectful manner? This virtual yukata workshop is ideal for beginners and will address the foundations of wearing kimono. Topics include but are not limited to: tying obi, types of kimono, yukata dressing, and the fundamental basics of wearing a kimono respectfully.
