DIY Michiyuki Design & Pattern

While exploring a few Japanese sites dedicated to sewing kimono we stumbled onto this nice diagram of a michiyuki and what parts make it up. Looking at the diagram many seamstresses could figure out a crude pattern and create their own. We do not know the source of this image, and hope to locate it and share. Let us know if you sew your own kimono, haori, or michiyuki! We would love to see your kimono sewing projects. Michiyuki are a coat worn atop of Japanese kimono.
