She painted her own obi!

You might have recently seen our latest blog post about DIY designing your own obi, and even Japanese kimono. In case you missed the article, you can check it out here: A few customers picked up their DIY obi from us, and already someone has begun to worn on creating their own custom obi. Check out what one of our customers is working on! She had seen an obi similar to this, and had really wanted it. However with a price tag of around $600 for that obi, she simply could not afford it. However, with a bit of paint, time, and an obi from us she is able to make her dream of owning a treasure obi come true at a fraction of the cost!
