We are excited to return to Chicago, Illinois this weekend and are a part of the first ever Chicago Matsuri! This two day outdoor festival will celebrate Japanese culture through a variety of engagements such as food, performances, and of course SHOPPING! If you have never been to Chicago it is wonderful city to visit, and offers a great multicultural community. There is even a planned J-Fashion meetup at the festival! Admission: FREE Our pop-up kimono boutique will be at the festival. We will have with us a fine selection of authentic traditional Japanese kimono such as yukata and iromuji, obi, haori, michiyuki, kaznashi, tabi socks, and more! Everything in stock will be out, and ready to be tried on. As always we offer culturally respectful traditional kimono dressings, and love taking the time to educate our customers about how to wear kimono properly. This is among the handful of last shows we are doing for all of 2018, and so it is a great chance to stop by and shop for kimono in person. After Chicago Matsuri we are on the road to the Kansas City Japan Festival, and then Youmacon in Detroit, Michigan! To kick off the 2019 year we will return to Ohayocon in columbus, Ohio.
