Kimono Transformed Into Samurai Armor

June 29, 2017

A few months ago a red and black kimono was purchased from us, and sent to the workshop of a company that makes Samurai Armor for historical reenactors. The kimono itself was paired with a gorgeous set of red armor, and then....torn apart. The kimono soon became parts of the armor, being used to line the armor and even make the sode. The results are stunning, and such a great and creative re-purpose of a kimono. Below are the photos of the kimono sent to us by the customer who purchased it and repurposed it for his armor.
