Recently we were approached by a young lady to help her out. She had gotten great grades in High School and as such her parent let her purchase what she wanted for Prom: a kimono. Not just any kimono but she wanted to wear a furisode, and did. After her purchase, she went on to learn how to dress herself in kimono and enjoyed a great time at Prom. She even appeared in the local news paper! #promkimono #japanesekimono #kimono #furisode #wafuku #kitsuke #OhioKimono #buykimono

We are committed to being a green business. One of the things we have done is ditch plastic bags, and offer our customers a nice reusable shopping bag while shopping with us at shows. Recently we polled out customers to select the color and theme of our newest batch of shopping bags. The winning theme was koi! A long time customer of ours really upped her kitsuke game with a single simply addition to her wardrobe: a kitsune mask. We were fortune enough to see this coordination first hand at Matsuricon 2017 this year, and had to wait a few months for her to coordinate a photoshoot.
