Two shows this weekend!
This weekend we are excited to vendor at two great events! We will be at Midwest Media Expo in Toledo, Ohio and also at Motor City Steam Con in Novi, Michigan. We will have a selection of yukata, haori, obi, kanzashi, and more for sale at both events. Admission to the vendors room at Motor City Steam Con is FREE! Over 600+ new Japanese kimono!
Our website has been busy, and buzzing with activity. The behind the scenes of our company is equally busy, as we attend to our customers individual needs and every order. With so much activity it is easy to miss how much work there still is left to do. Today we took a quick stock and tally of the kimono inventory waiting to be added to our online kimono store.

Announcement: We are expanding to the west coast!
We have some really exciting new to share! We have finished securing a new warehouse on the west coast! That is right! We have a new expanded base of operations in Portland, OR! Our aim with our new west coast warehouse is to serve Portland, Seattle, and San Francisco! The stock at our new warehouse on the west coast will be 100% different from the online store, and our east coast warehouse.

NEW! Maiko katsura wig!
We recently added a new katsura wig to our online kimono store! This wig is interesting, as most people are use to seeing only the bridal ones. This katsura wig is in the style of Yuiwata, which is most commonly today worn by maiko. This style was also popular among trendy young women in the Edo period. Maiko are apprentice Geisha. This authentic katsura wig is made from real human hair, and has a metal frame on the inside of it to support the wig.

Change To Our Shipping Policy
As our online kimono store has grown and we take on more shows to sell at, we are struggling to find a rhythm for shipping our online kimono orders. When our online kimono store was much smaller, many purchases shipped same day from our warehouse. However our business has since grown to a point that we can no longer operate in this manner. It has been a very busy week for us here! A large selection of inventory just arrived from Japan, and we are trying our best to work our way through all the lovely new kimono and obi. Introducing Our Gold Raven Project
For years we have struggled with finding really kawaii netsuke, and obidome that was the ideal addition to our kimono kitsuke. Over the years we had seen really novel looking resin charms, but we could never find a steady or affordable supplier for these charms.
